About the Role
We're looking for two experienced Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Analysts to play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity and resilience of our operations. As a Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to our operations and assets.
- Develop and document disaster recovery and business continuity plans, strategies, and solutions for various scenarios and levels of severity.
- Ensure that all businesses have an effective and comprehensive continuity and disaster recovery plan in place.
- Coordinate and conduct testing, training, and exercises to validate and improve disaster recovery and business continuity plans and capabilities.
- Monitor and report on the status and effectiveness of our disaster recovery and business continuity program and initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to management and staff on disaster recovery and business continuity best practices and standards.
- Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including IT, security, legal, compliance, vendors, and regulators.
- Analyze internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
- Participate in disaster recovery events and contribute to the development of a robust DR operational practice.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning roles.
- Strong knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Expert knowledge of IT recovery strategies, crisis communication planning, testing of plans, lessons learned, and corrective action plans.
- Experience with Incident/Problem Management, Change Management, Availability Management, and Configuration Management.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following skills and experience will be highly regarded:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner and a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-discipline teams, analyze problems, propose solutions, drive issues to resolution, and make decisions.

As you settle into the role, you'll be expected to digest information, reach out to various teams, and work on solidifying our DR operational practice.
