About the Role
As a Distribution Team Member, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of goods within our warehouse and expediting swift store restocking to prevent inventory depletion. This is a high-impact position that requires a diverse skillset, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to transport items throughout the storage facility, ensuring accurate and timely inventory management.
- Load and unload packages onto and off transport trucks and trailers, adhering to established procedures and safety protocols.
- Prevent loss or theft of packages by following established security procedures and reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Utilize data analysis tools to identify key inventory trends and make data-driven decisions to optimize warehouse operations and improve customer satisfaction.
- Perform routine forklift maintenance to ensure safety and reduce repair costs, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and company policies.
- Observe and adhere to safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet efficiency goals, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive continuous improvement.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree, demonstrating a foundation in basic skills and knowledge.
- Certified forklift operator, possessing a recognized documentation that certifies your ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for operating a forklift in a warehouse environment, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Ability to handle and transport cumbersome materials, demonstrating physical stamina and attention to detail.
