About the Role: Event Setup Specialist

We're on a mission to find a skilled Event Setup Specialist to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for evaluating incoming documents and data from medical providers, searching for insurance and employer leads, updating patient files in AcciClaim, and determining the next steps based on available information, contractual requirements, and state regulations. Your expertise will drive success in our medical claims management operations.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Evaluate incoming data to identify leads and important information for working events.
  • Enter new information into patient records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Synthesize available data to determine required additional information and next steps.
  • Successfully interact with data in various formats, including paper, fax, and electronic documents.
  • Consistently achieve production standards and QA requirements, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.
  • Perform special projects as assigned, showcasing your adaptability and willingness to learn.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, adhering to Revecore's high standards of data protection.

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • The ability to type 35 words per minute with minimal errors, demonstrating your proficiency in data entry.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with internal customers and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with a systematic approach to performing tasks and managing multiple priorities.
  • The ability to enter and process large amounts of information quickly and efficiently, with minimal errors.
  • A proven track record of reliability, dependability, and trustworthiness, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of MRA departments, their functions, and the information they require to perform their tasks.
  • Ability to adapt workflow according to client contractual and state requirements, demonstrating your flexibility and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of auto and health payers, as well as the hierarchy of patient accounting.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to multiple levels of abstraction, from big-picture thinking to detailed analysis.
  • Proficiency in computer functions, including internet navigation, Microsoft Office Suite, and Word Perfect, with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Comfort working with applicable technologies, such as printers, scanners, postage machines, and in-house systems.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in medical claims management, data processing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with AcciClaim or similar software, demonstrating your ability to quickly learn our systems.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards, ensuring your understanding of the industry's complexities.
