About the Position
We are looking for an exceptional leader to drive new business growth for our U.S. clients serviced globally. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership to our insurance vertical, ensuring alignment with Teleperformance's value proposition, driving transformation, and digitally integrated sales across the region. This executive will be responsible for developing and executing the vertical's new business strategy, strengthening our proximity with related accounts, adding new solutions and geographies, and driving measurable results to support the overall success of our U.S. strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Radically challenge workflows and processes to make them faster, simpler, and more agile
- Drive, lead, and manage business development leaders and executives, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management
- Leadership and development of our domestic insurance accounts sales teams, including marketing and solution design, to enable an optimal sales force structure in the cluster
- Partner closely with the team of Account CEOs to ensure tight alignment and a seamless customer experience
- Develop and retain the best sales executives and replace or realign resources to protect new business revenue
- Develop, lead, and be accountable for plans and strategies for the associated verticals/accounts to drive sales growth of new accounts/logos
- Help prioritize recruitment plans, business plans, and go-to-market strategies for relevant accounts, including crucial target definition and associated account plans
- Assess the digital vulnerability of our current pipeline and growth initiatives and drive a digital transformation to ensure proposals have digital transformation as a component
- Produce detailed and accurate sales and revenue/budget forecasts
- Manage and support the sales teams in multiple channel-selling strategies, including relationship selling, solution selling, added value-consultative selling, and social selling during the sales, negotiation, and closing cycles
- Use your network to aid in opening new markets/opportunities
- Approve the local validity/likelihood of "winning" any new business opportunities, RFI/RFP/RFx responses
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, help the U.S. sales teams identify and develop Teleperformance's unique selling propositions and distributors
- Ensure the region is winning accounts/logos in line with Teleperformance's commercial guidelines (GM%)
- Ensure sales teams utilize and manage the Teleperformance CRM system - Sales Force
- Drive thought leadership across the vertical as well as across the broader, global Business Development organization
Key First-Year Objectives
The successful candidate will be expected to develop a business growth strategy for the insurance vertical, focusing on expansion and product ideation, and act as an innovator to help unleash sales efficiency and digital acceleration. Additionally, they will be responsible for team development, recruiting a team to support the build-out of the insurance vertical, and building confidence and trust with new and current accounts through close partnerships and integration with their solutions.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Passion to sell into and build relationships in the insurance industry
- Bachelor's degree or above preferred
- 10+ years of successful enterprise sales experience within the insurance industry, focusing on Property & Casualty and Life & Annuity
- 10+ years of experience in a customer acquisition client-facing role with experience in account growth and creating strategies that exceed our client's business goals
- 10+ years of proven success in business development and consultative experience building and leading successful teams throughout the sales lifecycle
- Experience selling in the insurance space is required, with strong relationships
- An ambitious, can-do attitude; does not shy away from rolling up their sleeves and diving into the details
- Strategic mindset with an ability to see the way forward; sets aggressive goals and delivers results
- Establish and develop strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders
- Comfortable presenting in a group setting
- Proven, successful negotiation and business management skills
- Strong detail orientation with the ability to be productive and accountable and work under tight deadlines when needed
