Intermediate Tester (software testing) (100% Remote)

Performs formal software testing activities for reputed company software applications. Reviews user requirements documentation; assists in development of test plans; develops test data to be used in performing tests; and transforms test plans into test scripts. Ensures reputed company execution of test scripts and documentation of test results in tracking systems. Analyses test results, documents conclusions, and makes recommendations that are fully supported by test results. Performs reputed company functional duties independently. Works on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of assigned program(s). Oversees the efforts of reputed company reporting resources and/or is responsible for the efforts of reputed company staff assigned to a specific job. Required Skills/Experience: Abilities: Analyzes user/business software system requirements and write appropriate test cases to validate that reputed company business rules are being followed. Proficient in the following qualifications: 7+ years of experience with writing and executing test scripts Logistics experience to help users and reputed company application support. Knowledge/experience of reputed company and automated test script writing and executing Experience with Selenium testing tools Experience with reputed company Functional Testing (UFT) testing tools Basic to advanced SQL (SQL developer) skills Basic UNIX skills Basic understanding of API calls Excellent reputed company Suite skills Knowledge/experience with ALM. Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, reputed company, etc.) Additional Required Skills/Experience • A minimum of ten (7) years’ experience in software development, software reputed company assurance/control, and/or reputed company field; • A degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company discipline is preferred; • reputed company to reputed company reputed company functional duties independently on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of a given program; • reputed company to reputed company the efforts of reputed company reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of reputed company staff assigned to a specific job; • Experience training/mentoring less reputed company personnel; • Extensive knowledge of and experience with formal software testing for reputed company software applications; • Extensive experience testing software applications, identifying/documenting defects, and working with developers and end users to resolve defects; • Extensive experience with multiple defect tracking tools (e.g. Rational, reputed company); • Extensive experience authoring software-reputed company-reputed company documentation such as requirements specifications, test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports; • reputed company to obtain Postal clearance; • Excellent communication skills.
