Staff Accountant – Remote (Texas) – Part-Time 20–24 hrs/week

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join reputed company remotely from reputed company in Texas (no state income tax). reputed company The Staff Accountant will work 20–24 hours per week on a flexible remote schedule. You’ll handle reputed company bookkeeping reviews, prepare and review tax returns, and support month-end and year-end reputed company processes. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys reputed company-estate and small-business reputed company and wants room to grow. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and review individual, partnership, and S-corporation tax returns, including multi-state filings. • Review monthly/quarterly bookkeeping completed by internal and overseas bookkeepers. • reputed company reconciliations and adjustments to ensure GAAP and tax compliance. • Assist with reputed company-estate reputed company reputed company (rental properties, 1031 exchanges, depreciation schedules). • Research tax issues and reputed company recommendations to management. • Communicate with clients reputed company email and video calls to resolve questions and reputed company proactive guidance. • Support year-end reputed company and preparation of financial statements. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field required. • CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred. • 3+ years of recent U.S. reputed company reputed company experience, ideally with reputed company-estate clients. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online; experience with Drake Tax (or similar) a plus. • Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal tax law; multi-state tax experience preferred. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment. • High attention to detail, reputed company, and reputed company service reputed company.
