[Remote] Junior Project Manager – AWS Cloud Migration Project (Remote US)

INSPYR Solutions is a national expert in delivering flexible technology and talent solutions, and they are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to support a large-scale AWS-to-AWS cloud migration initiative. This role will focus on coordinating the migration of VPCs across AWS accounts, ensuring schedules, deliverables, and communications are properly managed. Responsibilities • Assist in planning and tracking project deliverables, timelines, and milestones for AWS VPC migration activities. • Coordinate with cloud engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure tasks are executed as scheduled. • Document migration plans, status updates, risks, and lessons learned. • Support issue tracking, escalation, and resolution during migrations. • Facilitate regular project meetings, including stand-ups, status reports, and retrospectives. • Help ensure compliance with project governance, reporting, and security requirements. • Coordinate and facilitate meetings • Coordinate the accounts to be moved • Facilitate monthly executive reviews • Maintain effective communication between technical teams, leadership, and external partners. Skills • 1-3 years of experience in IT project coordination or project management (infrastructure or cloud projects a plus). • Familiarity with cloud concepts, preferably AWS. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet). • Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment and manage shifting priorities. • Exposure to AWS networking concepts (VPCs, gateways, firewalls, security groups). • Any knowledge of AWS GovCloud environments or regulated workloads. • PMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum certification (or working toward one). • Previous experience coordinating cloud migration, data center, or infrastructure projects.
