**Responsibilities and Duties**
As an Overnight Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Making outbound and receiving inbound calls to assist customers with loan applications, payment arrangements, and other inquiries
* Consistently and accurately documenting all information pertaining to accounts, including loan applications, payment history, and customer interactions
* Using basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions
* Communicating clearly, concisely, and effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing
* Maintaining a professional demeanor and tone when interacting with customers, even in challenging situations
* Following written and/or verbal instructions from management and adhering to company policies and procedures
* Processing card payments accurately and efficiently
* Performing the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems
* Reviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan and making recommendations for approval or denial
* Following up with customers to clarify important points and ensure understanding of loan terms and obligations
* Finalizing loan details and keeping customers informed of their loan status and any changes to their account
* Staying up-to-date on lending and other financial services to provide expert advice and guidance to customers
* Creating and renewing records, including loan applications, payment history, and customer interactions
* Identifying customer needs and exploring all options available to customers to ensure they receive the best possible service
* Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapting quickly to changing company needs
* Multi-tasking by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously to ensure accurate documentation and efficient service
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a financial institution or related industry
* Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and problem-solving
