**What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)**
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
* Handling daily member telephone calls, directing them to necessary services, providing education, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Assisting providers with eligibility, benefits, and claims problems, ensuring that our members receive the care they need
* Collaborating with the Medical Management Department for service authorizations, working closely with our team to ensure seamless service delivery
* Working remotely to ensure efficient service delivery, leveraging technology to stay connected with our team and members
* Maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions, providing exceptional service to our members and exceeding their expectations
**What Is Required (Qualifications)**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent certification
* A minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service with direct customer contact, demonstrating your ability to handle complex issues and provide exceptional service
* Strong communication skills for interactions via telephone, email, chat, or face-to-face, ensuring that you can effectively communicate with our members and team
* Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting, leveraging technology to stay connected and productive
* Knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO, and Managed Care functions, allowing you to navigate our complex healthcare system and provide expert guidance to our members
**How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)**
While not required, we are looking for candidates with:
* One (1) year of experience in a physician healthcare office or high-volume call center, demonstrating your ability to handle high-pressure situations and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment
* Familiarity with HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO, and Managed Care operations, allowing you to navigate our complex healthcare system and provide expert guidance to our members
