Key Responsibilities and Duties
As a Remote Overnight Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Making outbound and receiving inbound calls to customers and potential clients
- Consistently and accurately documenting all information pertaining to accounts
- Using basic business math to solve problems and making payment arrangements
- Speaking clearly, concisely, and effectively; listening to, and understanding information and ideas as presented verbally
- Maintaining a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism when speaking to customers
- Following written and/or verbal instructions and working within the laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
- Processing card payments accurately and performing the initial approval of potential borrowers
- Reviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loans and finalizing loan details
- Keeping customers informed about rules and obligations and remaining up to speed regarding lending and other financial services
- Creating and renewing records and identifying customer needs
- Exploring all options available to customers and meeting monthly individual goals as set by management
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent Customer Service skills and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure and navigate tense situations
- Proficiency with technology, especially computers, software applications, and phone systems
- A minimum of a High school diploma or GED
- Proficient use of MS: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet and cloud-based storage
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field
- Experience working with financial software and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
