We're now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Entry and Tax Information Director to join our growing Expense Group on a part-time, remote basis.
About the Role
As a key member of our Expense Group, you'll play a vital role in driving our tax innovation and information needs forward. You'll work closely with stakeholders to identify, design, and implement solutions that meet the complex demands of our tax association. With a strong background in data entry, tax information, and automation, you'll help us push the boundaries of what's possible and drive our organization towards a more efficient and effective future.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify tax information and innovation needs, define requirements, and manage implementation.
- Work closely with data and engineering teams to design new data sources and tooling that meet the tax group's needs.
- Continuously challenge the status quo and explore smarter, more efficient ways of working.
- Solve complex problems using data at scale, leveraging your expertise in data analysis and interpretation.
- Experiment with cutting-edge technologies, such as AI and machine learning, to bring innovative solutions to tax.
- Participate in defining the organization's tax information and automation roadmap.
- Work cross-functionally across business, engineering, and accounting teams to ensure the integrity of our tax information flows.
- Elevate the tax group's understanding and adoption of automation technologies through knowledge sharing.
- Apply your experience creating workflows in Alteryx Cloud to drive process improvements.
Essential Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data and automation, with a strong background in tax-related data experience.
- Proven expertise in creating workflows in Alteryx Cloud.
- Strong experience running SQL queries and working with technology tools like Alteryx Desktop, Snowflake, and Python.
- Experience writing business requirements and testing to support large data projects.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated individual with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI, Statistical Analysis, Database, and ETL best practices.
- Knowledge of scripting languages and reviewing code for accuracy.
- Alteryx Center Certification.
- CMI or CMI candidate.

Compensation
