About the Role: Certified Pharmacy Clerk (Remote Data Entry)
As a Certified Pharmacy Clerk at blithequark, you'll be an integral part of our team, working in a dynamic environment that blends traditional pharmacy practices with modern technology. Key Responsibilities
- Patient Profile Management: Assist pharmacists in updating patient profiles and entering prescription information into our pharmacy computer system, adhering to Provincial regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Prescription Filling: Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, assist in filling prescriptions by retrieving stock bottles, counting, pouring, restocking, labeling, and pricing prescriptions, all while following safety and security protocols.
- Insurance Claims and Accounting: Prepare third-party insurance claims, process invoices, and make accounting entries using our computerized system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Order, receive, tag, and stock prescription drugs and supplies, following product storage procedures and standards. Additionally, manage over-the-counter products according to our merchandising plan.
- Remote Data Entry: Perform remote data entry of prescriptions for all Ontario blithequark pharmacies, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Flexibility: Be prepared to assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented mindset.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Education/Training: A pharmacy diploma from a Community College, demonstrating a solid foundation in pharmacy practices.
- Licenses/Certifications: Certification as required by the province, showcasing your commitment to professional standards.
- Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with current pharmacy experience, highlighting your ability to apply your knowledge in real-world settings.
- Knowledge/Skills: Familiarity with Kroll software is preferred, though not mandatory, as we value candidates who are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Schedule and Work Arrangement
This is a full-time, permanent position with a guaranteed 25-40 hours per week. You'll be working an 8-hour shift in our Vaughan, ON facility. While the primary work location is in-person, the role involves remote data entry tasks, offering a blend of on-site and remote work.
