Client Experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clients with respectful, friendly, and efficient checkout service, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Registers customer purchases on designated sales registers, handles cash and change, and processes transactions such as voids, returns, and exchanges as needed.
  • Recommends products for sale to customers and suggests upsells or cross-sells as appropriate.
  • Maintains counters and sales floors, takes inventory, and keeps records up to date.
  • Checks in and prices stock as required or directed by management.
  • Implements company asset protection methods to identify and minimize profit loss.
  • Ensures compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled products.
  • Develops and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale stock, and completes resets and updates as directed.
  • Assists with the separation of food items and product placement as determined by policies and procedures.
  • Has a working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
  • Provides customer assistance in the photo area, including digital photo services and sales of specialty photo products.
  • Takes on web order responsibilities, including screening orders, picking items, and delivering orders to customers.
  • Assists with external and internal maintenance, ensuring a clean, organized, and deliberate store environment and appearance.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). You should be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience in a retail environment is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with at least six months of experience in a retail setting. Previous work experience with blithequark is also a plus.
