The Manager, HR Business Partner will play a critical role in our Trade, Development, and Character association, driving strategic talent development, organizational effectiveness, and HR initiatives that foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business, building effective working relationships with internal partners and clients to drive business outcomes.
  • Proactively evaluate business and organizational performance, providing recommendations and driving action through a consultative, "impact without power" approach.
  • Mentor leaders on HR strategies, processes, and management issues, including talent planning, learning and development, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, adaptability, and continuous learning, encouraging experimentation, calculated risk-taking, and creative problem-solving.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to leaders and employees on HR-related matters, ensuring seamless execution and resolution of HR initiatives.
  • Analyze HR data and trends, presenting findings in a clear and compelling manner to inform business decisions and drive HR strategies.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Compensation partners to ensure effective talent management, acquisition, and retention processes.
  • Utilize knowledge of individual and organizational dynamics to facilitate onboarding, talent management, internal mobility, and overall team development.
  • Partner with DEI functional teams and employee resource groups to design and implement Inclusion initiatives, tracking progress and outcomes.
  • Assess talent capabilities and development needs, working with Learning partners to create and deliver targeted development experiences.
  • Lead organization design initiatives to streamline and implement new structures, roles, or processes that drive speed, efficiency, and agility.
  • Foster positive working relationships with HR colleagues, collaborating on projects and initiatives across various groups within Blithequark.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in a tech organization working with software or product teams.
  • Experience working with senior leaders in an "impact without power" role.
  • Ability to perform with a "focus in" disposition, equally proficient at thinking strategically and functionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage ambiguity, navigating complex issues and conflicting priorities.
  • Strong business acumen with a sharp ability to process new information rapidly.
  • Proven capacity to influence and partner with diverse stakeholders to drive business results.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to rapidly interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions.
  • Autonomous work style, balancing the need for collaboration with minimal management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business, HR Management, Psychology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working in a media and entertainment organization or similar industry.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or related field.
  • Fluency in multiple languages.
