**Job Summary**
As a Senior Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our company, impacting the service experience of our members through the manner in which customer service inquiries and problems are handled. You will engage, consult, and educate members based on their unique needs, preferences, and understanding of healthcare plans, tools, and resources. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail and multi-tasking, with the opportunity to work on two computer monitors using multiple applications to process prior authorizations for our members.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Answer incoming phone calls from members, providers, and clients regarding benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, authorizations for treatment, explanation of benefits, and other related inquiries
* Create written correspondence if issues are not resolved during the call
* Route inquiries needing further investigation to the appropriate department and conduct routine case checks as needed
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional service to our members
**Requirements**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment
* 1 year of prior experience with Microsoft Office
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in the healthcare industry
* Knowledge of healthcare plans, tools, and resources
* Certification in customer service or a related field
* Experience with prior authorization processes
* Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
