This job opportunity may require relocation to other cities/states." <<<</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Please check your spam/junk email folder in the event that any of our follow-up communication ends up there.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>NEEDED: Aerospace Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Technician/Engineer - Radiography (RT)</strong></p><p><br></p><p>MetaOps Inc. has an immediate need for contracted resources for a project in the Midwest USA interim Xray Product / Part Inspection Technician professionals.</p><p>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you’d do</strong></p><p>Every client we have will have different expectations, but in general you’d be responsible for the set-up and operation of an x-ray inspection equipment to inspect metal parts with aircraft engines. Participate in inspection and/or testing related activities to ensure that parts are manufactured in accordance with manufacturing standards and specifications.</p><p><br></p><p>Additional responsibilities may include:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Maintain accurate and reliable documentation.</li><li>Perform inspection and/or testing-related activities to ensure that parts are processed in accordance with manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications.</li><li>Maintain proper identification of parts per planning specifications and ensure that accurate and reliable records and documentation are maintained.</li><li>Communicate changes of shift requirements to ensure team members receive accurate and reliable information and documentation.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance of machines and equipment operated.</li><li>Clean, organize and maintain manufacturing work area in accordance with established standards.</li><li>Ensure the continuous flow of materials and parts.</li><li>Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.</li><li>Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Most assignments are full time, but flexibility to accommodate your personal situation is possible including 4-day work weeks on-site and fractional assignments from time to time. If you’re not local to an assignment, clients will pay reasonable travel and living expenses for the duration of the assignment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements to be considered</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 1-2+ years total working experience directly related to Xray Inspection Technician tasks to inspect manufactured parts.</li><li>A proven track-record with reference-able case studies in Xray Inspection Technician initiatives in manufacturing/aerospace industries.</li><li>Must have most of the following:</li><li>High School Diploma or GED.</li><li>Certifiable to NAS-410 as an X-Ray Level 1 with a minimum of 40 hours of documented non-film formal training and 200 hours of OJT or Level 2 with 800 hours of documented OJT and 80 hours of formal training.</li><li>Effective interaction with team members, customers, and all levels of management.</li><li>Reads, understands, and correctly interprets basic blueprint drawings.</li><li>Capable of lifting 50 pounds from the floor to a height of 25 inches, capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, have a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder 65 inches above the floor level (minimum)</li><li>Citizenship is required.</li><li>Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
