About Concentrix and the Role

Concentrix is a remote-first company that is seeking exceptional talent to join our Information Technology and Global Security team. As a Senior IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and strategizing IT solutions that drive business growth and excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams and operation engineering teams to establish a full development lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Work closely with business users, development teams, and operation engineering teams to tackle business requirements and deliver against high operational standards of system availability and reliability.
• Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources, leveraging your technical expertise to drive business insights.
• Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers and driving efficiency.
• Dive deep to resolve problems at their root, looking for failure patterns and suggesting fixes that enhance system performance and reliability.
• Architect financial solutions with a mindset of using all technologies that are at your disposal, driving innovation and excellence.
• Build and enhance software to extend system, application, or tool functionality, improving business processes and meeting end-user needs while working within the overall system architecture.
• Diagnose and resolve operational issues, perform detailed root cause analysis, respond to suggestions for enhancements, and create detailed recommendations for solutions to problems that impact code owned by another group.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to drive innovation and excellence, leveraging your expertise to shape the future of our organization.
• May work with users or Business Analysts to determine requirements and design for systems, ensuring that solutions meet business needs and expectations.
• Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner, serving customers and increasing the goodwill and profit of the company.
• Ensure the accuracy of deliverables through quality assurance practices, maintaining the highest standards of excellence.
• Create and/or update technical and user documentation of systems, ensuring that knowledge is shared and accessible across the organization.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical and business principles.
• 7+ years of relevant IBM Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics experience, including system configuration, data modeling, model building, and developing reports or dashboards with TM1.
• TM1 technical skills, including Dimension & cube development, Rules and TurboIntegrator coding, security setup, report development, and ongoing maintenance of existing models. Experience using source code control with TM1 is essential.
• Some experience with IBM Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) is preferred, demonstrating your ability to adapt to new technologies and tools.
• TM1 soft skills, including gathering requirements for new projects and providing analysis of existing functionality where needed.
• Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server, showcasing your technical expertise.
• Corporate finance experience, exhibiting knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting functions and processes.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and listening skills, ensuring effective collaboration and communication across teams.
• The ability to work in a team-oriented environment, driving collective success and excellence.
• Execute excellent customer service relationship skills, delivering exceptional value to our clients and stakeholders.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, demonstrating your ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email, showcasing your technical competence.
