Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain positive relationships, focusing on high expectations and continuous improvement for student learning

- Develop and guide learning in partnership with students, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with state and district standards
- Evaluate individual student and class performance, analyzing assessment data and adjusting instruction to improve performance
- Implement current best practice instruction and resources, focusing on student needs and goals
- Maintain documentation and required reports, complying with site, district, policy, administrative, state, and/or federal statutes and regulations
- Manage classroom structure and procedures, establishing a positive, safe, and orderly optimal learning environment
- Model positive behaviors, promoting appropriate social and interpersonal behavior in alignment with district goals
- Oversee assistant teachers, student teachers, instructional assistants, volunteers, and/or student workers, ensuring the operation of an effective and efficient classroom structure
- Participate in meetings and professional growth opportunities, conveying and/or gathering information to perform functions
- Respond to emergency situations, resolving immediate safety concerns and/or directing to appropriate personnel for resolution
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, education, or a related field
- Current Louisiana teacher certification
- Strong knowledge of computer science and technology, including programming languages, software applications, and hardware systems

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
