Job Description Required Education:• High school diploma or GEDRequired Skills for the Clerical Assistant:• 1-2 years administrative related experience required.• Previous experience in a legal or administrative role is strongly preferred• Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.• Ability to keep information organized and confidential.• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Clerical Assistant Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Clerical Assistant to provide support for our legal defense firm in Lake Mary, FL. The Clerical Assistant will primarily be responsible for managing compiling discovery packages, assisting with incoming electronic mail, document downloads, file document associations, and assisting with incoming and outgoing mail.Responsibilities:• Assembling, organizing, and preserving investigative and case materials.• Collecting and compiling evidence sought by opposing parties.• Accurately chronicling all discovery/evidence produced to the defense.• Managing and tracking discovery responses.• Download and associate electronic mail with appropriate files, ensuring accurate and timely processing.• Maintain and organize digital files, ensuring all documents are correctly filed, properly labeled and easily accessible.• Provide additional support, as needed, including but not limited to, subpoena data entry and calendaring of court deadlines and case-related events. **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.** &nbspBenefits: For information and details on employment benefits offered with this position, please visit here .
