About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our team in Pompton Plains, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Be flexible and adaptable, responding to the changing needs of each assignment

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
• Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
• A NJ Substitute Credential
• A background check and TB risk assessment (we will cover the cost of this)
• Full COVID-19 vaccination
• A passion for education and a commitment to putting students first
• An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Knowledge of trauma-informed teaching practices and classroom management strategies

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, with pay rates of up to $190 for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term assignments. Additionally, you will receive:
