Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional to fill the role of International WebChat Outbound Sales Representative. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting sales to direct consumers, identifying travel needs, and presenting Norwegian Cruise Line products to meet and exceed revenue goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Promote sales to direct consumers by initiating web chats, acting on leads, and presenting Norwegian Cruise Line products to identify travel needs and make travel recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain quality customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service, establishing rapport, and identifying and meeting customer needs and expectations.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with new and existing consumers, maintaining a consumer prospect list/contact database to identify client travel trends and proactively promote Norwegian Cruise Line products.
  • Acquire in-depth industry and company knowledge to articulate cruise product features, benefits, pricing, and make recommendations, including promotions, itineraries, and auxiliary products.
  • Attend and actively participate in daily team meetings and relevant sales training to ensure appropriate sales techniques are being used and accurate information is being communicated to direct consumers.
  • Participate in department-approved mass email campaigns targeting specific guests' profiles.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum one year of sales experience; 2 years of sales experience preferred, with cruise sales experience being a plus.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with direct guests via web chat and internally.
  • Strong working knowledge of Norwegian Cruise Line's products, including the current fleet and ship itineraries.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a high-energy sales environment that is goal/quota driven.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in outbound sales, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Fluency in a language other than English.
  • Experience with web chat software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
