Digital Product Designer UX - Research Digital Solutions - Limited Tenure - Remote

About the position Responsibilities • Analyze research findings and recommendations to plan and deliver Use Cases, User Journeys, User Flow Diagrams, Navigation Structures and Information Architecture. • Shape products that advocate for user needs and deliver on business requirements. • Design for various platforms including browsers, responsive web, native apps, smart watches, kiosks, and web-connected health monitoring devices. • Create and deliver Storyboards, Wireframes, Interface Modules and Pages, Prototypes and Design Specifications. • Evaluate designs according to project specific and enterprise standard metrics. • Collaborate with the Experience Design team to maintain and refine Mayo Clinic's Digital Design Language. • Facilitate Design Workshops and synthesize divergent ideas into a cohesive Design Proposal. • Provide oversight of vendors that assist with Experience Design scope of work. • Work as part of multidisciplinary teams delivering Research systems to Mayo Clinic users. • Partner with the Product Manager and users to achieve optimal user experience. • Educate colleagues on best practice user experience research and design. Requirements • High School diploma/GED required. • 5-7 years' experience in Design with demonstrated impact. • Understanding of the Human Centered Design (HCD) process. • Working knowledge of current User Experience methods. • Excellent visual communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including confident presentation skills. • Ability to design on behalf of people with serious and complex medical conditions. • Demonstrated use of an iterative design cycle method to refine products. • Demonstrated knowledge of design tools and platforms (Adobe CS, Sketch, Figma, Mural, Invision etc.). • Experience working in Scrum Agile methodology to define User Stories.
