Job Summary

We're looking for an exceptional Math Instructor / Tutor to create an engaging and productive learning experience for our students. As a Math Instructor / Tutor, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and tutoring services, interacting with parents, and contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students, using the Mathnasium Method^™ and digital educational materials
• Participate in positive interactions with parents, establishing a high level of confidence and program value
• Teach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery, using individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess student progress throughout instructional sessions, and collaborate with team members to deliver the best possible experience
• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework, providing constructive feedback and guidance
• Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment
• Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the team's success

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to demonstrate:

• A passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members
• Exceptional math competency, through at least Algebra I
• The ability to balance various ongoing tasks, prioritizing responsibilities and managing time effectively
• A willingness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium Method^™

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly valued:

• Previous experience in math education or tutoring
• A degree in mathematics, education, or a related field
• Experience working with students of varying ages and skill levels
• Familiarity with digital educational materials and online learning platforms
