Job Summary

As a Part-Time Health and Human Performance Instructor, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students by teaching a range of courses in Health, Wellness, and Physical Education. You will be responsible for developing and delivering curriculum, assessing student learning, and providing a supportive and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of Health/Wellness and Physical Education classes, including lecture and physical activity courses
• Develop and deliver curriculum that meets the needs of diverse student populations
• Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Health and Human Performance program
• Stay current with developments in the field and incorporate new ideas and approaches into teaching practices

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's degree in a related field. Teaching experience is preferred, but not required. You must also be able to follow oral and written instructions, maintain a high degree of confidentiality, and pass a fingerprint-based national criminal history check.

Essential Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Exercise Science, Health Education, Physical Education)
• Ability to teach a variety of Health/Wellness and Physical Education courses
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse student populations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience at the community college or university level
• Experience with online or hybrid teaching formats
• Knowledge of current trends and developments in Health, Wellness, and Physical Education
