About the Role

As a Barre Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching a minimum of 5-6 classes per week, including early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will be expected to plan and prepare diligently for each class, including studying choreography and class planning, as well as learning full choreography changes on a quarterly basis. You will also be required to assist with keeping the studio tidy and maintaining a high-energy level throughout each 50-minute class.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a minimum of 5-6 classes per week, including early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Plan and prepare diligently for each class, including studying choreography and class planning
• Learn full choreography changes on a quarterly basis
• Assist with keeping the studio tidy
• Maintain a high-energy level throughout each 50-minute class
• Ability to lift hand weights, demonstrate full body pushups, and maintain high-energy for 50-minute class

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess an enthusiastic, confident, and outgoing personality, with a passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others. You should have an active lifestyle, already living a health-centered life, and be dependable with a strong work ethic. Musicality and the ability to confidently lead a room of 20+ people are essential, as well as excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.

• Ability and desire to build client relationships through outstanding customer service
• Active lifestyle, already living a health-centered life
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Musicality - ability to keep rhythm and count to beat of music

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in dance, fitness, cheerleading, or barre concept
• Prior knowledge of the Pure Barre brand
• Experience in teaching group fitness classes

Training and Certification

All instructors are required to complete a 3.5-day virtual training, as well as significant 'at home' study and preparation for certification before being eligible to teach classes. A minimum one-year commitment to teaching is required before attending the 3.5-day training. A fully refundable training deposit is required to attend training.
