About the Role and Responsibilities

As a Barre Fitness Instructor and Pure Barre Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional classes that exceed our clients' expectations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Teaching a minimum of 5 classes per week, including early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Diligent planning and preparation before each class, including studying choreography and class planning, as well as learning full choreography changes on a quarterly basis
• Demonstrating excellent Pure Barre technique and providing modifications and adjustments to clients as needed
• Ability to lift hand weights, demonstrate full body pushups, and maintain high-energy for 50-minute classes
• Attending monthly team meetings and workshops to stay updated on the latest techniques and best practices
• Assisting with keeping the studio tidy and organized
• Completing a 4-day training at one of our corporate training centers, as well as significant 'at home' study and preparation for certification before being eligible to teach classes

• Active lifestyle, already living a health-centered life
• Dependable with a strong work ethic – natural willingness to go above and beyond
• Confidence to energetically command a room of 20 people
• Musicality – ability to keep rhythm and count to the beat of music required
• Capability to perform the technique correctly and memorize a large amount of information
• Background in dance, music, musical fitness, or cheerleading is ideal, but not required

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience as a fitness instructor or teacher
• Knowledge of the Pure Barre brand and technique
• Experience in customer service or sales
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
