About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that upholds and enforces school rules and is conducive to learning
• Guide the learning process to increase student achievement in accordance with the curriculum and consistent with state and local standards
• Employ instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting stated objectives
• Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required in a timely and confidential manner
• Collaborate with colleagues, students, and/or parents on an ongoing basis concerning student academic and behavioral progress
• Adhere to the Board of Education policies, state rules and regulations, and to licensure standards
• Strive to maintain and improve professional competence and serve on staff committees as required

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in any area and be enrolled in (or willing to be enrolled in) an Early Childhood Education (ECE) program. Alternatively, you may be enrolled in a Teacher Education Program (TEP) or Alternative Licensure program. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about education and have a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of their students.

Preferred Qualifications
