About the Role
We are looking for a talented and dedicated Spanish Teacher who is passionate about teaching and inspiring young minds. Key Responsibilities:
- Meet the individual needs of the children by interacting with them to support play, exploration, and learning
- Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff members
- Create a positive learning environment in your classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning
- Present expectations that are appropriate to the child's age and developmental level
- Plan and implement activities that develop self-esteem and social skills
- Build teamwork and collaborate with other educators to achieve common goals

Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications and requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid
- Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses
- Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances
- Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use arms, hands, legs, and feet, with or without corrective devices
- Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved
- Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations
Education Qualifications:
- An Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
- A current CDA or Early Childhood Teaching Credential
- Proof of current and active enrollment in an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- An Associate's degree or higher in Spanish Language
Preferred Qualifications:
- Related degrees in Elementary Education, Home Economics, Child Development, Child Life, Psychology, or Sociology with a minor in Education
- Relevant coursework in Child Development, Human Growth and Development, Educational Psychology, Child Psychology, Methods: Age Birth to 8 years, Children's Literature, Developmental Assessment of Young Children, Measurement and Evaluation, Nutrition, Health and Safety, and Child Care Administration
