Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Certified Special Education Teacher to work with our intervention programs for the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing small groups of students in grades K-5 in both Reading and Math. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies
- Instruct Reading and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting
- Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans
- Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations
- Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation)
- Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies
- Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications
- Teaching Certificate in Special Education
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Classroom teaching and/or tutoring experience
- Experience with the Special Education population
- Willingness and ability to teach various grade levels
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Zoom/Teams preferred
- A passion to help students!

- Experience with intervention programs and small group instruction
- Knowledge of curriculum design and development
- Experience with data entry and record-keeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
