About the Role: Specialist - Global Customer Solutions

As a Specialist in Global Customer Solutions at blithequark, you will be the linchpin in ensuring that our high-profile customer issues are addressed with the utmost care and professionalism. This role is not just about resolving customer complaints; it's about being a customer advocate, a problem solver, and a key contributor to enhancing our customer experience. Working remotely, you will be an integral part of our global team, collaborating with various departments to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and partner with stake-holding departments to ensure high-profile issues are sufficiently addressed and responded to, including public statements, DOT follow-up, and small claims court appearances.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and suggest improvements to address service failures.
  • Work closely with other organizations to establish customer experience history for escalated incidents.
  • Provide leadership updates and executive-level communications to advise on incident handling and resolution.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer resolution processes.
  • Offer subject matter expertise (SME) and escalation support/guidance to other team members in Customer Solutions and Recovery, as well as external contact center groups.

Qualifications: What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of operational or contact center experience.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels of the organization, external business partners, team members, and customers.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability, initiative, and superior decision-making skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in email applications (e.g., Outlook) and general knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is essential.
  • Experience with complex cases and customer service escalations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A BA in English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Foreign language skills.
  • Proficiency in EZR/SHARES.
  • Strong subject matter expertise and working knowledge of blithequark's policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Airline industry experience.
