Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and authorization requests into our system, ensuring that all information is processed efficiently and effectively. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, meeting client turnaround times and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Navigating efficiently and effectively through our imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, utilizing your technical skills to optimize your workflow.
  • Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines, demonstrating your ability to understand and apply complex rules and procedures.
  • Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling, exercising your attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates: High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and skills.
  • Required Level of Experience: 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role, providing you with a solid understanding of data entry principles and practices.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Strong data entry/typing skills, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into our system.
