Responsibilities
As a virtual customer support agent with blithequark, your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in training and certification courses to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service
- Providing excellent customer service by guiding and helping others with a friendly and professional attitude
- Using your home computer and phone to answer inbound phone calls, video calls, and/or live chats to provide awesome customer service
- Committing to and following through on working a minimum number of hours per week (40 hours per week)
- Being accountable in all areas of work with blithequark, including meeting performance standards and following company policies and procedures
Qualifications
To be successful as a virtual customer support agent with blithequark, you will need to meet the following qualifications:
Standard Requirements
- Customer experience is preferred but not required; however, you must have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- You must have a quiet, dedicated work space with a desktop or laptop, headset, and reliable wired high-speed internet connection
- You must demonstrate professionalism with excellent typing, communication, and computer skills
- You must be skilled in spelling and grammar rules and have excellent command of the English language
- You must be willing to submit to a standard background check, drug test, technology check, and voice assessment
- You must be willing to work hard and strive for high customer satisfaction ratings
- You must be 18 years old or older and have a high school degree or equivalent
- You must be authorized to work in the US and reside in the US (note: not eligible to residents of California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, or Wisconsin)
- Access to a smartphone for system verification is required
