Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Data Science Manager to oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans for a designated region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading teams, managing budgets, and driving business solutions through advanced analytics and data science. This is a full-time, work-from-home opportunity that offers a competitive salary range of $35-$40 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and manages strategic plans for a designated region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Leads teams assigned to projects, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Designs, develops, and implements techniques, processes, and frameworks to integrate and analyze diverse data sets, including structured and unstructured data.
• Serves as a subject matter expert, providing expertise and guidance on complex data science issues and opportunities.
• Develops and maintains key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including peers, colleagues, and leadership, to drive business solutions and strategies.
• Creates and executes budget plans, managing financial resources to meet business objectives and goals.
• Apportions available resources to meet operational targets, ensuring effective use of assets and capabilities.
• Develops and tutors staff through onboarding, open communication, training, and development opportunities, fostering a culture of excellence and employee engagement.

Essential Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, computational, or technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in a work environment.
• At least 2 years of direct management, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership experience.

Technical Skills

• Profound knowledge of SQL and experience with analysis and statistical programming languages, such as Python, R, Hadoop, SAS, and SPSS.
• Experience with open-source data science and statistics packages, such as Python, R, and Flash.
• Ability to develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
