Are you up for the challenge? THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: The Sourcing Manager role is a step forward in your sourcing and procurement career in the world of beauty. You will have the opportunity to learn the many functions of an Indirect Strategic Sourcing Department, deepen your sourcing and procurement skills, build valuable relationships, and make an immediate impact by driving savings to the bottom line. In this role, you’ll support and lead various sourcing projects in the Digital and Ecommerce category. This includes category strategy development, sourcing projects, price/contract negotiations, financial analysis, and basic project management. All with a goal of creating meaningful value for Ulta. Overall, the role requires strong organization, frequent and clear communication, problem-solving skills, positive working relationships, and a drive to achieve valuable results across a variety of projects. YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY: • Lead multiple sourcing projects, primarily in the Digital and eCommerce category. Common purchases and subcategories include: digital payment processors (cart/checkout), digital advertising and marketing, SaaS and on-premise software, unique innovation partnerships, and other professional services. Recurring projects include - strategic sourcing events (RFP’s), price negotiations, contract negotiations (with support from Legal Services), resolving supplier/Ulta issues. Support will also be required with Ulta’s 3rd Party labor MSP and VMS solution. * Adhere to Ulta’s sourcing expectations and utilize our tools and data; including Ariba, Scanmarket, Teams, and a host of supporting applications • Identify and deliver value for Ulta (savings, avoidance, risk reduction, diversity, sustainability and more) • Utilize your project management skills to execute projects with internal stakeholders and procurement leadership • Build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders • Support Ulta’s efforts to further supplier diversity and inclusion THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: • Comfortable solving unique problems, asking questions, and continually learning • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships - from entry-level teammates up to executive leadership • Ability to provide timely updates to projects utilizing sourcing toolkit and Microsoft applications. • Demonstrated ability to self-start, determining work steps based upon management direction and Ulta tools/templates • Strong organization and process improvement skills • Excellent written and oral communicator, including leadership presentation skills • Competent data analysis abilities • Proficient with Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams; ability to learn procurement-specific software such as Ariba on the job • Bachelor's degree in a related field from four-year college or university; and/or 3-5 years of sourcing experience • Familiarity with sourcing processes, terminology, contract negotiations, and other procurement best practices WORKING CONDITIONS • Ulta “FlexWork” – three (3) days in office per month (Bolingbrook, IL), with the remainder remote #LI-JB2 #LI-Hybrid ABOUT At Ulta Beauty (NASDAQ: ULTA), the possibilities are beautiful.
