The Event Coordinator (EC) manages the ongoing event coordination work of assigned live, destination, and/or digital events. EC is responsible for all aspects of coordination and implementation of events including administrative duties, planning, travel/logistics, inventory, printing, production schedules, grassroots support, communication, and correspondence. Up to 60 travel days per year is required. Why Lifeway? Responsibilities • Live out Lifeway’s mission and values , showing deep commitment to Kingdom work • Maintains all aspects of project management for multiple events • Coordinates and books all logistic elements (i.e. travel, hotels, transportation, meals, etc. • Monitors registration, grassroots efforts, marketing messages, and social media exposure • Works with multiple internal and external teams to execute all phases of planning live, destination, and/or digital event • Prepares and oversees customer-facing information and monitors website and email updates • Develops and maintains event budgets • Manages multiple onsite teams including event team, platform, volunteers, production, venue, etc • Contributes to multiple projects that affect the ongoing work of the event team Qualifications Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning, project management, or communications Required Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities: Organizational skills – Advanced Written and verbal communication – Advanced Technical skills – Intermediate Project management skills – Advanced Logistic skills – Advanced • Ability to travel 3-4 days 10 - 15X per year • Ability to travel 7-10 days 2X per year Preferred: Knowledge/experience in digital events Knowledge/experience in destination events Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
