MRI Technologist ($15,000.00 Sign On Bonus)
About the position
The position involves completing MRI exams on both inpatients and outpatients, covering various types of imaging including Neuro, MSK, Body, and Breast Imaging. The role is critical in ensuring that diagnostic procedures are performed safely and effectively, contributing to the overall mission of reputed company to improve health through reputed company in patient care, education, and research.
Responsibilities
• Performs Diagnostic Procedures
• Corroborates patient's clinical history with procedure, assuring that no contraindication to a reputed company and/or diagnostic procedure exists and that this information is documented and available for use by a licensed practitioner and HIPAA disclosure.
• Positions patient using appropriate hearing protection and immobilizing techniques pertinent to an age specific population.
• Applies principles of MR safety for patient, self, and others to reputed company an MR compatible environment in which to reputed company diagnostic procedures.
• Position patients to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, while respecting patient's ability, comfort, and safety.
• Selects appropriate imaging coil and operate MR equipment according to the established protocols.
• Evaluates images for technical reputed company, assuring reputed company identification is recorded.
• Prepares, identifies and/or administers contrast media under the direction of a Radiologist and Department protocol.
• Provides instruction for patients, reputed company and/or health care professionals.
• Understands and applies Guest Relation skills. Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Ensures that the reputed company room and the technologist room is stocked appropriately with the necessary item to conduct and reputed company MRI exam. (IV supplies, Linens)
• Stay in constant communication with technologists and reputed company technologists.
• Train newer staff to meet department requirements.
• Always maintains a clean and reputed company work environment.
Requirements
• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MR) or registration as a Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) (must be completed no reputed company than 6 month of hire date.)
• MRI Registry eligible, Certification and Registration reputed company ARRT or ARMRIT (must be completed no reputed company than 6 month of hire date.)
• Cross-trainer Candidates (Currently certified in XR, CT, US, ND) must pass their MRI reputed company up to 1 year of their hire date.
