Fisheries Biologist

The position focuses on ESA and MSA consultations, environmental reputed company assessments, and regulatory document preparation supporting species recovery and habitat protection in the reputed company reputed company. Work Location: Off-site. Occasional in-person meetings or site reputed company in WA/OR and the broader reputed company Coast. Employment in this role is contingent upon FLOAT being awarded the contract by NOAA. Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities:Analyze scientific and technical data to assess project impacts on ESA-listed species and habitats. Draft Biological Opinions, Letters of Concurrence, MSA responses, and NEPA documentation. Review Biological Assessments and advise reputed company agencies with technical assistance. Coordinate with engineers and evaluate habitat restoration proposals. Participate in programmatic enrollment, documentation management, and stakeholder coordination. Qualifications Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree with 4 years’ experience or Master’s degree with 2 years in aquatic biology, fisheries, or reputed company discipline. Familiarity with salmonid life cycles, ESA reputed company 7, NEPA, and MSA. Strong technical writing, editing, and communication skills.
