About the position
Responsibilities
• Provides intermediate to expert level analysis of arrhythmias on intracardiac electrograms, technical device data, test results, and physiologic data for all Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED) types and manufacturers.
• Works with the Hubs to process transmissions for CIED scheduled and alerts, following the company's service-level agreement timelines.
• Analyze and interpret CIED transmission data autonomously using company software provided.
• Process alert and scheduled transmissions independently, without oversight.
• Document findings clearly and concisely following company protocol on reporting requirements, standards, and format.
• Escalate device abnormalities through company workflow process.
• Escalate urgent and emergent abnormalities directly to the customer.
• Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards.
• Provide troubleshooting support as requested.
• Complete all assigned and required training; stay up to date on developing clinical knowledge, specifically ECG rhythm interpretation.
• Follow all company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Work directly with patient engagement team to re-engage disconnected patients.
• Maintain manufacturer portals, patient schedules, and alert programming.
• Stay current on new products, solutions, and CIED management offerings.
Requirements
• Successfully completed CIED Remote Monitoring Course, 1 - 2 years direct experience.
• Experience with in-office and remote CIED interrogations of all four medical device manufacturers (Biotronik, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic) or previous field clinical specialist experience with one of the four manufacturers.
• Experience utilizing all four home monitoring websites preferred.
• 2 - 5 years related industry experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: CCDS, CEPS, CDRMS preferred or CRAT/CCT.
• Previous experience with implantable monitoring devices.
• Expert arrhythmia recognition and interpretation.
• Intermediate to expert CIED management fundamental knowledge.
• Intermediate to expert electrogram (EGM) interpretation skills.
• Intermediate to expert knowledge and navigation of the external manufacturer portals.
• Basic understanding of how company products and solutions offer value to the customer.
• Follow all HIPAA related guidelines.
• Proficiency using a computer and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook); comfortable using telephone and computer to perform job responsibilities.
