About the position
Responsibilities
• Coordinate the hospital-wide Infection Prevention Program.
• Conduct surveillance, analysis, and reporting of hospital-acquired infections.
• Educate staff on infection prevention practices.
• Develop and implement health system policies and procedures related to infection control.
• Lead performance improvement projects to enhance infection prevention standards.
• Collaborate with Quality leaders and the Infection Prevention team to make informed decisions regarding infection control.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
• Master's Degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in a clinical setting.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• 5+ years of healthcare experience in Infection Control.
• Certified in Infection Control (CIC).
