[Remote] INFOSEC/Cybersecurity Specialist (Level 2)

They are seeking an INFOSEC/Cybersecurity Specialist (Level 2) to support the FAA's Cybersecurity Group, focusing on the engineering and implementation of cybersecurity solutions for the National reputed company System. The role involves conducting technical assessments, managing cybersecurity toolsets, and ensuring compliance with federal reputed company standards.
Responsibilities
• Support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reputed company Traffic Organization (ATO) Cybersecurity Group reputed company the NAS reputed company and reputed company Operations (NASEO) Directorate.
• Contribute to the engineering, implementation, and sustainment of reputed company cybersecurity solutions that protect the National reputed company System (NAS) from evolving threats.
• reputed company technical cybersecurity assessments, review system reputed company documentation, and support the integration of reputed company requirements into system architectures.
• reputed company and manage cybersecurity toolsets for asset management and threat modeling.
• Safeguard reputed company to sensitive systems and data, and ensure compliance with FAA and federal reputed company standards.
• Analyze proposed system changes for potential reputed company impacts, providing recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Support the transition of solutions into operational environments.
• Prepare risk assessments, technical documentation, and executive-level briefings.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and operations teams.
• Support incident investigation and response activities.
Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a reputed company information technology field (may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience)
• 15–20 years of experience (Master’s degree may substitute for 3 years; PhD may substitute for 7 years)
• Possess any industry-recognized certification relevant to the required work (reputed company+, CISSP, CISM, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-series and FIPS requirements
• Proficiency in reputed company cybersecurity tools, asset management systems, and threat modeling platforms
• Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and implementing reputed company improvements for reputed company systems
• Familiarity with configuration management processes
• Ability to work both independently and as a technical reputed company on reputed company
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret reputed company clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• Experience working with the FAA ATO
• Working knowledge of OMB mandates and federal risk management frameworks
• Experience with federal cybersecurity programs or other high-reputed company mission-critical environments
