Dispatcher – Box Truck Operations (Full-Time, In-House)

About Us Harris-Williams Transport LLC is a growing trucking company specializing in transporting general freight across the United States using 26ft box trucks only. We pride ourselves on professionalism, reliability, and building strong relationships with brokers and shippers. We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Dispatcher to join our team full-time and manage daily operations for our fleet. Position Overview The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing all loads, ensuring drivers are on schedule, and maintaining strong communication with brokers and customers. This is an in-house position on company payroll—you will only dispatch for Harris-Williams Transport trucks. Responsibilities • Book and assign profitable loads to company drivers • Input loads and dispatch through the ProTransport system • Communicate promptly and professionally with brokers via phone and email • Negotiate rates, sign rate confirmations, and handle carrier packets • Review and verify BOLs and related documents • Monitor drivers’ progress, providing support and updates to ensure timely deliveries • Plan efficient routes and maximize truck utilization • Ensure trucks consistently gross $5,000+ per week with proficient drivers Requirements • 3+ years of dispatching experience (box trucks preferred) with documentation to verify • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Experience with route planning, booking, and rate confirmations • Knowledge of load boards, brokers, and carrier compliance • Proficiency with dispatch/transport management systems (ProTransport experience a plus) • Ability to stay organized, detail-oriented, and focused under pressure • Dedicated and motivated to grow with the company What We Offer • Full-time, stable in-house position (fully remote, contractor) • Competitive pay (discussed during interview) • Opportunity to grow with a fast-expanding trucking company • Professional work environment with a dedicated team Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $1,550.00 - $1,900.00 per week People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
