Donated Dental Services Program and Volunteer Coordinator (2 yrs exp req)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Coordinate care for patients in the DDS program.
• Evaluate new applicants for eligibility and assist them in obtaining care.
• Work closely with volunteer dentists to facilitate patient care.
• Recruit and retain volunteer dentists and labs for the program.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop recruitment materials.
• Promote DLN programs through partnerships with dental associations and groups.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external constituents.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with nonprofit organizations.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Windows operating systems.
Nice-to-haves
• Bachelor's degree in social work or other human services field.
• Some proficiency in Access and Salesforce.
• Experience in volunteer recruitment and engagement.
