About the Role

We're seeking an experienced PC Support Technician to join our team based out of West Palm Beach, Florida, near the Palm Beach International Airport. As a PC Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch technical support for computers, servers, peripherals, and associated networks in a face-to-face customer environment. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, 24x7x365 environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and replace hardware (computers, printers, laptops, etc.) and validate solution implementation.
  • Respond to trouble calls from customers, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and identify hardware errors in computers, printers, laptops, and other peripherals.
  • Manage assets, spares, and consumables, ensuring efficient inventory control.
  • Perform quarterly preventative maintenance on workstations and peripherals to prevent issues before they arise.

Qualifications and Skills

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (AA/AS degree or other 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • In the absence of a High School diploma, a GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident ("Green Card" holder).

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a field technician role or comparable experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with Windows 7 and 10 platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify hardware errors.
  • Understanding of SLAs, severity levels, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and French.
  • Experience with asset, spares, and consumables management.
