About the Role and Responsibilities

As a Benefits Administration Services Associate II, you will be responsible for responding to client-specific inquiries through multiple channels, including telephone and web correspondence. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, assisting participants with the information needed to make informed decisions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all interactions are handled with empathy and understanding.
  • Assisting participants with information needed to make informed decisions, providing clear and concise explanations of benefits and services.
  • Completing transactions related to customer inquiries with limited supervision, meeting timeliness and accuracy standards.
  • Explaining participant forms and providing guidance on completion, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Completing follow-up and call backs in a timely manner, escalating issues as appropriate to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Gathering information to keep customer profiles and accounts up-to-date, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Providing great customer service, ensuring that all interactions are positive and professional.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or an equivalent level of education, demonstrating a strong foundation in communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test, ensuring a safe and secure work environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 20 WPM (words per minute) on a computer, with strong data entry and keyboarding skills.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
