Key Responsibilities
- Answer a high volume of incoming calls and engage in face-to-face conversations to provide information and resolve customer issues
- Determine member needs and provide appropriate solutions, including answering general questions about our products and services, and troubleshooting complex issues related to online orders, tracking, and deliveries
- Offer compensation and alternatives as required, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently and effectively
- Act as a liaison between members, vendors, purchasing, and operations staff to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues
- Utilize various computer programs simultaneously on multiple screens while on the phone or responding to chats, demonstrating proficiency in technology and multitasking
- Employ critical thinking and decisive reasoning skills to determine order/item/delivery issues and provide effective solutions
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Certifications/Certificates: E-commerce Customer Service Specialist Certification after completion of a 14-day training program
- Experience: Previous customer service experience preferred
- Skills/Abilities: Customer service, computer literacy, professional business writing, typing (minimum typing speed of 30 wpm), and excellent communication skills required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and split days off
