About the Role: Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the frontline ambassador of our healthcare services, directly influencing patient outcomes through your interactions. Your role is multifaceted, focusing on communicating the benefits of generic medications or appropriate therapies to patients, thereby ensuring overall savings for them and our clients. You'll work closely with our Specialty Projects Team to achieve generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, all while maintaining a patient-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with patients to influence generic utilization and therapy changes, providing education and resolving queries in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Conduct adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients remain on their prescribed medications, enhancing their adherence and compliance to therapies.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls to patients, clients, and other stakeholders, proactively gathering necessary information while providing top-notch customer service.
  • Utilize your knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement requirements to dispense information, process new referrals, and identify potential issues for escalation to pharmacists.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency while working independently as part of a larger team, adhering to blithequark's high-energy culture and customer service standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting, with a proven track record of handling customer queries over the phone.
  • At least 6 months of experience working in high-volume customer service environments using Windows, Microsoft, or similar applications.
  • Residency in Nevada is mandatory.
  • A verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

While the above qualifications are essential, candidates with additional skills or experience in healthcare, insurance billing, or customer service software will be highly regarded. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn proprietary systems quickly are significant advantages.
