About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with customers who contact us for a variety of reasons. Whether it's helping them find the perfect pet supplies, resolving issues, or simply providing guidance, you'll be the one making a positive impact on their day.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers via phone, email, or chat to resolve their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Research and problem-solve to determine appropriate solutions for customers, thinking proactively and setting follow-ups as needed to ensure contact resolution.
- Operate with empathy, patience, and kindness, utilizing active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide personalized support.
- Collaborate with teammates, managers, and other stakeholders across the organization using virtual collaboration tools to contribute to a customer-centric culture.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow, embracing feedback and using it as an opportunity to improve and develop your skills.
Essential Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) - demonstrated through a written assessment.
- Fluency in both Canadian French (Quebecois) and English.
- Ability to multi-task, navigating multiple systems and tools while maintaining a conversation with customers.
- Proficiency in using computers, including data entry and rapid navigation through systems and the internet.
- Adaptability and flexibility to shift schedules and work overtime as needed.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Technical Requirements
- A dedicated workspace with a reliable wired, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/ 10 Mbps+ upload speed).
- A work area that is free from distractions, including background noise that may impact the customer experience.
- A webcam-enabled device for virtual collaboration and communication.
- A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication through Okta Verify.
