Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Document details of each conversation accurately, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
  • Utilize online reference materials to provide up-to-date and efficient information about our programs, services, and policies.
  • Operate technical systems, including desktop applications and call center phone systems, with proficiency and ease.
  • Meet quality assurance standards and performance metrics set by the department, continuously striving for improvement and excellence.
  • Educate customers and address inquiries while maintaining sensitivity to handling confidential information, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and professional.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in navigating online resources, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Ability to obtain a public trust entry of duty security clearance for government clients, ensuring that you can work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Reliable, private internet connection capable of being hardwired via ethernet cable, ensuring that you can work efficiently and effectively from home.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Bilingual or multilingual proficiency, enabling you to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, demonstrating your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional service to customers.
  • Prior clearance for a Public Trust Entry of Duty Clearance Level (Government Clients Only), indicating your ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Licenses in insurance, healthcare, and/or finance sectors, providing a strong foundation in industry-specific knowledge and regulations.
  • Familiarity with FEMA Call Center operations, demonstrating your understanding of emergency management and response protocols.
