Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Customer Care Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing receptionist and clerical support, preparing and coordinating patient records, answering phones, and scheduling appointments. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing supply chain activities, including inventory management, supply replenishment, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide receptionist and clerical support to patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Prepare, coordinate, and compile patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments
- Establish, inventory, and replenish adequate supply levels to support daily activities for nursing and ancillary departments
- Document all supply replenishment activities, including issues, credits, patient care equipment, and charges
- Process patient and supply charges for interfacing and day-close activities
- Monitor, rotate, remove, and document all outdated and overstocked supplies, checking for any damage to items
- Enter supply replenished par level forms, including par, Pyxis inventory, or exchange carts to support daily activities for nursing and ancillary departments
- Verify inventory and control levels for all nursing and ancillary departments
- Physically stock and pick needed supplies for delivery to nursing and ancillary departments
Essential Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing
- Ability to operate computers and other office equipment, requiring the ability to move fingers and hands
- Ability to see and read computer monitors and documents
- Ability to remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment
- May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling, and reaching
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or related field
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare operations
- Experience with inventory management and supply chain activities
