As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead, analyze, and specialize in broad datasets, developing top-level business insights through cutting-edge predictive models across brick-and-mortar and online business platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and set strategic vision and direction for the data science team, focused on Omni-Channel analysis across both brick-and-mortar and online business.
• Lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with Analysts, Technical Partners, and Business Leaders to establish a development roadmap based on business needs.
• Translate business requirements into precise product specifications to guide development.
• Lead solution design sessions, aligning strategies to business drivers, challenges, and long-term goals.
• Design efficient data pipelines to address business issues, utilizing technical tools and retail systems.
• Establish and implement Data Science team best practices and lead code reviews for colleagues.
• Create compelling visuals, diagrams, and graphs that resonate with data, tailoring them to various audiences.
• Utilize advanced analytics techniques (regression, AI, clustering) to drive meaningful insights.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.).
• 2+ years of experience developing Analytics, Statistical, or AI models to extract insights and address business challenges, ideally in a retail setting.
• Proficiency in web analytics and visitor segmentation using data to drive informed decisions and improve online experiences.
• Ability to lead small teams in quick and accurate data analysis, feature definition, and creative problem-solving for business challenges.
• Cloud platform/tech proficiency.
• Aptitude in AI or machine learning methods.
• Ability in investigating and root cause analysis.
• Successful in fast-moving, changing environments.

• Familiarity with various project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, scrum).
